Pastor Shawn Reid is the founder, visionary, and CEO of Now Faith Worship Center and She Royal Ministries. Through matured faith and the power of prayer, Pastor Reid’s mission is to uplift and restore families who have experienced “traumatic yesterdays”. The grace of the Lord allows her to lead these families from broken hearts and shameful pasts to the virtue, clarity, and peace that rests solely in Christ Jesus.

     Since entering Ministry in 2008, Pastor Reid has served the Tri-State communities by piloting and managing nursing home, hospital, prison, widow / widower, and homeless shelter ministries. As a ‘Spiritual Mother’ of many, Pastor Reid motivates inner growth using spiritual rearing and accountability. In addition, Pastor Reid also counsels women through a round table forum called Straight Talk -a monthly She Royal Ministries event.

     Pastor Reid was the creator and host of Bridging the Gap - a weekly spiritual podcast – which ran from February 2018 – January 2022. Bridging the Gap had faithful listeners in NJ, PA, CA, FL, MD, GA, VA, TX, DE. Internationally, there were listeners in South Africa, Europe, Sweden, UK, Philippines, Brazil, and Bangladesh. Bridging the Gap was featured on Christian Radio Shows via iHeart Radio, Pandora Radio, and Spotify, and repeatedly reached #1 on iTunes in the Christian Podcast Category.

     Pastor Reid has been featured as a guest speaker on various radio shows -I Won’t Miss Radio; Studio 36; WTMR Radio, and she hosted a Circle of Joy Women’s Conference (Philadelphia, PA) in 2018. Through the years, Pastor Reid has been blessed to be a keynote speaker at several conferences throughout the Tri-State area - Healing and Restoration Ministry; Mt. Calvary C.O.G.I.C. Women’s Day Conference; Shiloh Baptist Church Women’s Day Conference; She Committed Conference; and Strengthening Warriors in Ministry Conference - to name a few.

     Pastor Reid accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at Mount Airy Church of God in Christ (Philadelphia, PA) in October 1989. At this place, her spiritual roots were planted and cultivated under the leadership of Bishop C. Morris for well over 30 years. In 2020, she became a member of From the Throne Ministries under the leadership of Overseers Apostle Chantel Poole and Bishop Ellis Poole; and Pastor Sherria Gross and Sir. Marvin Gross. Here, Pastor Reid continues to be encouraged, nurtured and supported in leadership and ministry.

Pastor Reid attended Lutheran Theological Seminary and Eastern Seminary; both institutions are in Philadelphia, PA. In April 2022, Pastor Reid became a trained and certified doula through Lifespan Doulas. She earned a National Association of Christian Counselors board certification in Biblical Christian Counseling in June of 2022. Currently, Pastor Reid is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Addictions Counseling from Rutgers University.

     Pastor Shawn Reid is a dedicated mother to Sheree and Sharae Lang, and a devout prayer warrior. Her genuine love for the Kingdom of God keeps her strong and inspired to perform His will every day. She's been honorably serving as Lead Chaplain for Cooper University Hospital (Camden, NJ) since 2014.
